Myles Rowe charged from his starting position of P9 early in the race. Eventually, he made his way up to P2 during the first green flag stint in the IndyNXT by Firestone Music City GP. That first green flag run came to end when Michael D’Orlando and Callum Hedge collided on lap 32.
On the Restart, Myles was able to charge hard and get side-by-side with Salvador de Alba in the 27 Andretti Global Machine. Myles edged ahead and was able to take the checkered flag first to win the season finale for IndyNXT.
On winning the 2025 Music City Grand Prix, Myles said, “Just pleased the team can end on a high note. They do so much for me. They have so much faith in me. Very happy I could give this to them.”
Myles, confirmed to remain at Abel Motorsports with Force Indy in 2026, looks forward to what the team can do this off season to prepare for next year. He said, “We’re going to really do a big debrief on everything because we have to work a little bit smarter next year. {…} understanding how we can further greaten our strength, but also make sure we can understand our weaknesses and how to address them accordingly in an efficient way”.
A special congratulations also goes out to Denis Hauger who received his championship trophy on Sunday, winning his rookie IndyNXT by Firestone season. Hopefully we see Denis on the IndyCar grid full time in 2025
