MotoAmerica @Midohio
Over the course of the weekend, I was privileged enough to photograph two different classes: Royal Enfield's Build-Train-Race series and the Mission Super Hooligan series. I had so much fun over the course of the entire weekend and I can't wait to get back out on track with these amazing riders!
The Royal Enfield: Build, Train, Race series is very close to my heart. This series strives to solve the underlying problem of all of motorsport: the extreme cost to race. BTR allows young women the chance to race for 2 full seasons with their support team, motorcycles, tires, and fuel all paid for completely. This is an amazing series that is not only getting more female riders out on track, but it is solving a systemic issue in motorsports. So happy I got work with them at Mid-Ohio and I hope that I get to work with them more next season!
The Super Hooligan series is full of, well, hooligans. This series takes all of the motorcycles that don't quite fit the mold for a supersport, bagger, or junior series and allow them to race against each other. From motorcycles with two cylinders, three cycinders, and four cylinders to, in Energica's case, zero cylinders, these riders give their all on track. This is some of the closest racing I've had the pleasure of photographing and I can't wait for even more of this action next year!
